BC362R and BCT362T Electrical to Optical 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, ASI
The BC362R is a receiver for the conversion of two independent optical signals into electrical 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI. The incoming optical signal is fed to a trans-impedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically reclocked on the outputs.
The BC362T is a transmitter card for the conversion of two independent 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI signals into fibre optical cable. Each incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a separate single optical fibre.
BC360H Electrical to Optical Transceiver HD-SDI, SD-SDI, ASI
The BC360H is an HD-SDI, SDI and ASI Transceiver. It handles two independent transport streams in opposite directions on two fibres.Channel A is an auto-sensing HD-SDI optical transmitter and handles all formats of Serial Digital Video. It works with data rates of 10Mb/s up to 1.5Gb/s. The incoming signal is cable equalised and passed to the optical driver. The optical driver is factory configured for 1310nm singlemode, 1550nm singlemode or CWDM performance. There is also an active driven loop through.Channel B is an HD-SDI optical receiver. The optical input is fed through the PIN/TIA to a limiting amplifier and the signal is autosensed and reclocked according to the relevant signal format. Independent cable drivers drive two BNC connectors on the output.
All Bluebell cards are designed to retain maximum integrity of the signal path offering excellent jitter free optical transport. Careful attention has been paid to reduce thermal runaway, eliminating the need for forced air cooling as fan failure and overheating is the most common cause of failure in modern electronic systems.

BC400R Single Channel Electrical to Optical De-Embedder SD-SDI
The BC400R is a receiver for the conversion of an optical signal into SD-SDI with the ability to de-embed 2 channels of AES/EBU audio. The incoming optical signal is fed to a trans-impedance and limiting amplifier before being electrically reclocked on the outputs. An internal de-embedder drives the AES/EBU output signals via a line transformer.
BC400T Series Modular Fibre Optic Interface System SD-SDI
The BC400T is a transmitter for the conversion of SD-SDI into an optical signal with the ability to embed 2 channels of AES/EBU audio. The incoming signal is auto-sensed and then equalised prior to conversion and transmission down a single optical fibre.

Mobile Fibre Optic System—PROBE
The Bluebell PROBE is a rugged portable fibre optic system specifically designed for OB, ENG and SNG applications. It has been designed to be used as a “throw-down” box and connected to a truck via a Military Tactical Fibre Optic Cable for the ingest of news, sport and concerts in any outside broadcast environment.

The unit can be configured for almost any combination of Video, Audio and Data and multiples thereof. A typical setup might be 2 x HD-SDI Program video feeds, Black and Burst Genlock and RS232 Control for connection to a remote camera head.

Blue Box SMPTE Hybrid Cable 4 channel link Dual Link/HD-SDI/SD-SDI/ASI
The Bluebell Blue Box is a 4 channel multiplexer/demultiplexer that makes HD-SDI to fibre conversion over SMPTE hybrid cable possible. The Blue Box provides a compact conversion unit which allows the outputs from up to four cameras to be transmitted over a single standard SMPTE Hybrid cable.

● Four signals can be sent from the remote or camera end to the OB Truck
● Two signals can be sent in either direction
● Three signals are sent in one direction with a reverse path monitor feed for example.
SHACK SMPTE Hybrid Alternative Connector Kit
The SHACK System from Bluebell has been designed to allow SD-SDI and HD-SDI broadcast cameras fitted with Standard SMPTE 304M hybrid connectors to be deployed using ordinary singlemode optical fibre.
SHACK extends the range of the camera system and releases the Operator from long lengths of bulky hybrid cable. The mating with the duplex singlemode fibre is done via standard SC, LC, ST or FC connectors.

This system allows the user to replace the fibre/copper hybrid cable between the camera and the CCU with standard fibre cable. The SHACK is perfect for Stadiums, Arenas and Concert Halls that have pre-installed fibre networks.
